AN ACT tur/her /0 amend t!ze Import Duties Act, 1976.
BE 11' ENACTED by the President, by and with the advice and
conscnt of the House of Representatives, in this present Parliament
assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows:-
l. (J) This Acl may be cited as the Import Duties (Amendment)
(No. I) Act, 1981, and shall be read and construed as one with the
Import Duties Act. 1976, hereinafter referred to as "the principal Act".
(2) The amendments effected by this Act, with the exception
of paragraphs l, 3, 7 (in 50 far as item (A) and the note to item (B) of
heading No. 22.09 are concerned), sub-paragraph (b) of paragraph 10,
paragraphs 12, 14, 35, 36 and 38 of the First Schedu1e and the Second
Schedule, sha11 have effect as from the 19th day of November, 1980.
