Art. 41 Ordinance of September 20, 2002 on Identity Documents for Swiss Nationals (OID) - Surveillance by the Confederation The office oversees the processing of personal data by third parties. It coordinates its activities with the authorities participating in ISA. It issues regulations for the attention of users. It ensures compliance with the present ordinance and the directives resulting from it.

L’Ufficio federale vigila sull’elaborazione dei dati personali da parte di uffici terzi. Coordina la sua attività con le autorità coinvolte in ISA.
Emana un regolamento per gli utenti.
Sorveglia il rispetto della presente ordinanza e delle istruzioni emanate in base ad essa.
