Art. 41 Constitution of the Canton of Valais, (1907) The Grand Council has the following powers in particular: a. it approves the budget and approves the accounts, which are made public; b. it participates in planning to the extent determined by law; c. it decides on expenditures and authorizes concessions, real estate transactions, loans, and the granting of sureties and other similar guarantees, except as provided by law; d. it sets the remuneration of magistrates, civil servants, and state employees, except as provided by law; e. it exercises the right of pardon.
Art. 41 1907
Il Gran Consiglio ha segnatamente le seguenti attribuzioni: a. delibera il bilancio di previsione e approva i conti, che sono resi pubblici; b. partecipa alla pianificazione nella misura stabilita dalla legge; c. decide le spese e autorizza le concessioni, le operazioni immobiliari, i prestiti, le fideiussioni e altre garanzie analoghe, salve le eccezioni previste dalla legge; d. stabilisce le retribuzioni dei magistrati, funzionari e impiegati dello Stato, fatte salve le eccezioni previste dalla legge; e. esercita il diritto di grazia.
