BE IT ENACI"ED by the Praidenl. by and with the advice and

This Act may be cited all the Wei&htl and MeaJUra (AmeDd·

mCIIU Act. 1984, Ind shall be read and coostrued as one with the

Weights and Measures Ordinance, hereinafter referred to as Mthc princi-

P'ol law",

"22, Any person who makes any act or agreement contrary

to section 19 and any person who makes use fot trade or has in his

possession for use f(W lrade any weight. measure. or weighing or

measuring inslrurm:nt other than according to the metric system

shall be guilty of an offence and shall on conviction be liable for

each offence to a fllle /.ommendll}. and any weight, measure. or

weighing or measuring instrument in respect of which lhe offence

was committed shall be liable to be forfeited ....
