Il diritto all’assegno di formazione sussiste per i figli che svolgono una formazione ai sensi degli articoli 49 bis e 49 ter dell’ordinanza del 31 ottobre 1947 sull’assicurazione per la vecchiaia e per i superstiti.
È considerata formazione postobbligatoria la formazione successiva alla scuola dell’obbligo. La durata e la conclusione della scuola dell’obbligo sono stabilite dalle disposizioni cantonali applicabili.
