AN ACT to make provision with respect to the adjournment of certain

causes before the Superior Courts.

BE IT ENACTED by the President, by and with the advice and

consent of the House of Representatives, in this present Parliament

assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows:-

Art. 1 Short title. — ACT No. VI of 1981 AN ACT to make provision with respect to the adjournment of certain causes before the Superior Courts. Apri la fonte ufficiale

This Act may be cited as the Special Adjournment of Causes

Act, 1981.

Art. 2 — ACT No. VI of 1981 AN ACT to make provision with respect to the adjournment of certain causes before the Superior Courts. Apri la fonte ufficiale

Notwithstanding anything contained in the Code of Organi- Adjournment of

zation and Civil Procedure or in any other law, all causes which were due

due for hearing before any of the Superior Courts on or after January 3, after January 3,

1981, and which are not for any reason adjourned by the Court to a 1981.

fixed date, shall be deemed to have been adjourned to March 3, 1981,

but such causes shall on that date again be adjourned to such dates as

will enable the Court fully to comply with the laws of procedure in

force on that date.

Art. 3 Act ,to cease to be in force on March 31, — ACT No. VI of 1981 AN ACT to make provision with respect to the adjournment of certain causes before the Superior Courts. Apri la fonte ufficiale

Without prejudice to anything done thereunder, this Act shall

cease to be in force on March 31, 1981.
