Art. 7 Decree No. 94-86 of January 26, 1994, concerning the accessibility for handicapped persons to residential premises, establishments and facilities open to the public, amending and supplementing the Code of Construction and Housing and the Town Planning Code Official ↗

The first paragraph of Article R. 421-53 of the Town Planning Code shall be supplemented by the following provisions: "In this case, the building permit shall be issued after consultation with the competent safety commission."

The provisions referred to in Articles 3 and 9, as well as the regimes for work authorization and opening authorization referred to in Article 4 of this decree, shall be applicable as of the first day of the seventh month following the publication of this decree in the Official Gazette.

The Minister of State, Minister of Social Affairs, Health and the City, the Minister of State, Minister of the Interior and Regional Planning, the Minister of Equipment, Transport and Tourism, the Minister of Housing, and the Minister of Overseas Departments and Territories shall be responsible, each within their respective sphere of competence, for the execution of this Decree, which shall be published in the Official Gazette of the French Republic.
