Order of 10 January 1994 relating to the duties of accountant for probation and post-release assistance committees

For the application of the aforementioned Order of 13 December 1993, judicial service civil servants designated as managing clerks (régisseurs) of the secretariat-registries of judicial tribunals by order of the Minister of State, Keeper of the Seals, Minister of Justice, shall ipso jure exercise the duties of accountant for the probation and post-release assistance committees.

In case of impediment of the agents referred to in Article 1, the civil servants of the judicial services designated as deputy steward of the clerks' offices of the judicial courts by decree of the Minister of State, Keeper of the Seals, Minister of Justice, shall exercise ex officio the functions of accountant for the probation and assistance to released persons committees.

An implementing circular shall specify the procedures according to which this personnel is designated in the capacity of agent of the heads of the accounting sections of the regional directorates of the prison services for keeping the accounts of the probation and post-release assistance committees.

The Director of Judicial Services and the Director of Prison Administration at the Ministry of Justice shall be responsible, each within their respective sphere of competence, for the execution of this Decree, which shall be published in the Official Gazette of the French Republic.
