Art. 46: Enforcement Ordinance to the Personnel Act (VVO)

1. If there are different degrees of employment, the amount of the long-service award is determined by the average degree of employment over the last ten or five years, respectively.

2. In special cases, the long-service award shall be determined by the Directorate or the authorized office, in consultation with the Human Resources Office and the competent supreme cantonal court.

3. Full-time employees who are also employed part-time in another function shall receive the long-service award only for their full-time employment.

4. If there are multiple part-time employments, the long-service award shall be apportioned proportionally among the employments.
