Art. 14: Enforcement Ordinance to the Personnel Act (VVO)

1 For the calculation of years of service, a **fictitious Fictitious**

**date of entry** is set for all employees, regardless of the number of employments. **date of entry**

This corresponds to the start date of the first activity to be considered for the calculation of years of service.

2 The fictitious date of entry will be adjusted upon re-entry into the

service of the Canton42, as well as in the case of single or multiple

unpaid leaves exceeding a total duration of six months

or 132 working days, whereby only the period exceeding this duration is to be taken into account.

3 The fictitious date of entry is determined and adjusted by the appointing authority. For employees with multiple

simultaneous employment relationships, the authority where the first

employment commenced is responsible.
