Art. 1 : Agreement between the Cantons of Zurich, Schwyz, and St. Gallen concerning the determination of the nodal point where their state borders converge on Lake Zurich near Rapperswil

The junction where the boundaries of the high cantons of Zurich, Schwyz, and St. Gallen converge on Lake Zurich near Rapperswil is located 100 feet west of the Löwenstein.

After this treaty has been ratified by all parties, a landmark, visible even at the highest water level, shall be erected at this point at the expense of all three cantons. The Government of the Canton of St. Gallen shall make the necessary preparations for this.
