Decision on the Delegation of Decision-making Powers of the Directorate of the Interior in Social and Societal Areas to the Cantonal Social Welfare Office
Statutory Text (4 Provisions)
1. The head of the cantonal social office is granted the authority to decide on granting a temporary individual cost coverage guarantee for contributions towards a stay in a social institution, up to an amount of CHF 150,000.- per cost approval.
1. In the event of an extended absence of the head of the cantonal social office, the authority to grant a temporary individual cost assumption guarantee pursuant to Section 1 is assigned to the deputy of the head of the cantonal social office.
1. The Authority of the Department of the Interior to Grant Contributions Chargeable to the Fund for Charitable, Non-Profit, and Cultural Purposes pursuant to Section 4 para. 1 subpara. 10 of the Delegation Ordinance (DelV) dated 28 November 2017, is delegated to the Cantonal Social Office, provided that
a) * it involves contributions to cantonal institutions and groups that seek to address child and youth issues or enable meaningful recreational activities for children and adolescents;
b) * it involves applications for contributions to support their activities, particularly for tent acquisitions or contributions to further education in this area;
c) * the application does not exceed the amount of CHF 3,000 in individual cases, and
d) * the total annual amount of CHF 200,000 for all contributions in the field of youth promotion is not exceeded.
1. The Right to Comment on the Implementation of Applicable International and Federal Legislation Concerning the Rights of Persons with Disabilities pursuant to § 4 para. 2 let. b of the LBBG is transferred to the Disability and Support Services Division of the Cantonal Social Office. It may provide comments independently of any possible statement from the Department of the Interior.
2. The Department of the Interior submits matters related to disability rights to the Disability and Support Services Division for comment. Specifically, invitations to internal cantonal reports and statements to the federal government and third parties are forwarded to it for comment.
