Statutory Text (7 Articles)
1. This decision sets, subject to special provisions, the meeting allowances and travel expenses for the members of administrative and advisory commissions appointed in this capacity by the Council of State.
2. Magistrates and cantonal officials who belong to such a commission do not receive a meeting allowance; except where a contrary decision is made by the Council of State.
1. The session compensations for the members of the aforementioned cantonal commissions are determined as follows

2. The compensation is calculated based on the number of hours, but must not exceed the compensation per half-day or, as the case may be, per day.
1. The compensation per meal amounts to 25 francs; the compensation per overnight stay including breakfast amounts to 90 francs.
2. Members are generally entitled to reimbursement of travel expenses for public transportation (SBB 2nd class; outside of the canton: SBB 1st class).
3. However, if circumstances justify the use of a private vehicle, a mileage compensation of 0.70 francs is granted.
4. Only the actual costs will be reimbursed.
1. Compensation for experts with special assignments remains reserved. These cases shall be submitted to the State Council by the departments.
1. The President of the Commission is required to organize the meetings efficiently in terms of financial aspects.
2. The payment of compensations is made based on periodic statements, which are signed by the President of the Commission and the competent authority.
1. The department tasked with financial matters and the offices to which the commissions are affiliated are entrusted with the execution of this decision.
2. All deviations from this decision fall under the jurisdiction of the State Council, which decides after consulting the department tasked with financial matters.
1. The present decision annuls the decision of 23 June 1999 in the same matter.
2. It shall be published in the Official Gazette and shall enter into force retroactively on 1 January 2008.
