Regulation on fees charged by the Bar Committee or its president, by delegation (RE-Chav) - Chamber of Lawyers [ 1 ] (RE-CHAV)

1. The Bar Association or its president collects the following fees

a. for registration or re-registration in the cantonal register of lawyers, in the register of legal advisors, and in the register of lawyers who are nationals of EU or EFTA member states: from 100 to 500 francs;

b. for striking off the register: from 50 to 500 francs;

c. for authorization to plead before Vaud courts, granted in a special case to a lawyer who is a national of a non-EU or non-EFTA member state: 100 francs;

d. for the examination of a request for review of a decision imposing a disciplinary penalty: from 100 to 1,000 francs;

e. for the designation of a substitute lawyer in case of temporary or permanent withdrawal of the right to practice: 100 francs;

f. for the issuance of a certificate: from 50 to 150 francs.

2. A fee ranging from 100 to 500 francs may be charged for other decisions of the Bar Association or its president. Article 59 LPAv [A] is reserved.

1. This regulation enters into force on March 1, 2008.
