Medical certificates listed in the table below must be submitted to the school authority upon the occurrence of the cases listed.

● Nursery school, primary school, middle school, special school, full-time post-compulsory school, and vocational school.

In case of doubt in the interpretation of the certificate or uncertainty in individual situations, the school doctor provides the necessary consultation to the headmaster or the teacher responsible for the school location.

Certificates other than those listed are not required.

This Directive repeals that of 20 April 2000. It is published in the Official Bulletin of Laws and Executive Acts of the Canton of Ticino and enters into force on 1 September 2007.
