§ 284 Act on the Introduction of the Swiss Civil Code - II. Upon Registration Art. 836 para. 1 SCC 1. Cases

1. The Claim for Establishment of a Statutory Lien with Registration Exists

a) in favor of the state and municipalities for the cost shares in the construction, correction, and expansion of public roads, sidewalks, and plazas, bridges, and culverts;

b) in favor of the state and municipalities for the cost shares in the correction and maintenance of water bodies;

c)* in favor of the state and municipalities for the obligation to refund subsidies;

d)* in favor of municipalities, public-law corporations, and public-law institutions for the cost shares in sewerage, water supply, and wastewater treatment facilities;

e)* in favor of land improvement associations for the cost shares of land improvements according to § 268;

f)* in the cases designated by special legislation.
