§ 219 Law on the Introduction of the Swiss Civil Code — B. Official Participation in the Division Art. 609 para. 2 SCC
1. In all cases, a division proceeding must take place before the registrar, during which the division of the estate is to be sought.
2. The division of an estate must be signed by the parties involved. The registrar confirms official participation.
3. If the division does not occur, the registrar records this in the inventory.
