§ 170 Law on the Introduction of the Swiss Civil Code — B. Succession to Missing Persons Art. 550 Swiss Civil Code (ZGB)

1. The Child and Adult Protection Authority appoints a guardian to administer the inheritance share accruing to the missing person.

2. As soon as the legal requirements are met, the Child and Adult Protection Authority must request the declaration of presumed death.
