§ 164 Act on the Introduction of the Swiss Civil Code — Substitution of an Heir, Security, and Estate Administration Art. 490 Swiss Civil Code (ZGB)

1. The decision regarding the security to be provided by the prior heir in the case of a subsequent heir appointment is made by the President of the District Court, while the order for estate administration is determined by the Child and Adult Protection Authority.

2. The local jurisdiction is governed by Article 28 of the Swiss Civil Procedure Code concerning the forum in inheritance law.
