§ 145 Act on the Introduction of the Swiss Civil Code - D. Procedural Rules Art. 450f and 450g SCC I. Principle

1. In proceedings before the Child and Adult Protection Authority and before the judicial instance, the provisions of the Swiss Civil Code regarding child and adult protection shall be applied, complemented by those of the Act on Legal Protection in Administrative Matters, taking into account the differing provisions of § 146. If these contain no provision, the Swiss Code of Civil Procedure shall be applied mutatis mutandis.

2. With the exception of the special provisions regarding protective placement, these procedural rules also apply in matters where the Child and Adult Protection Authority exercises competence under cantonal law.
