§ 141 Act on the Introduction of the Swiss Civil Code - D. Jurisdiction and Notifications in Cases of Sterilizations

1. For the tasks pursuant to Articles 6 to 8 of the Sterilization Act, the child and adult protection authority at the place of residence of the affected person is responsible. Article 442 paragraph 1 of the Civil Code applies mutatis mutandis.

2. Notifications according to Article 10 paragraph 1 of the Sterilization Act shall be made to the child and adult protection authority at the location where the procedure was carried out according to Article 2 paragraph 2 of the Sterilization Act.

3. Notifications according to Article 10 paragraph 2 of the Sterilization Act shall be made to the department.
