§ 95 Rules of Procedure of the Cantonal Council of Solothurn · Disciplinary Procedure

1. If there is reason to believe that an official subject to the disciplinary authority of the Cantonal Council has violated their official duties, any member of the Council and any member of the Government Council may request the initiation of disciplinary proceedings from the Council leadership. This right is also available to the person concerned themselves.

2. The Council leadership examines the matter, reports to the Council, and makes a proposal. The Council leadership rejects obviously unfounded requests to the applicant with a brief justification.

3. If the Council decides to establish an expert commission, the Council leadership proposes the commission members for election to the Council.
