§ 35 Rules of Procedure of the Cantonal Council of Solothurn - Session Allowances

1. Councillors shall receive an attendance fee of 130 Swiss francs for participation in

a) Council meetings;

b) Committee meetings;

c) A maximum of three extraordinary caucus meetings per year, in addition to plenary sessions.

2. The attendance fee shall be 200 Swiss francs for

a) Meetings lasting more than five hours and not associated with an excursion;

b) Participation in council and committee meetings on the same day;

c) Once per session for participation in council and caucus meetings on the same day.

3. Double the attendance fee shall be paid for chairing council, committee, and caucus meetings.

3bis. Councillors who prepare a memorandum on committee meetings shall receive compensation equivalent to the regular attendance fee.

4. Caucus meetings for which an attendance fee is claimed must be designated by the caucus president. The attendance fee shall only be paid to caucus members who have signed in on an attendance list.

5. The council leadership shall decide on disputes concerning compensation issues.
