Art. 71 Constitution of the Canton of Solothurn (KV) - Legislation

Art. 71 KV — Legislation

1. The Cantonal Council enacts all fundamental and important provisions in the form of law. It may participate in the preparation of legislation.

2. Subject to Paragraph 1, it issues the implementing provisions for federal laws and federal resolutions in the form of regulations. It may delegate this authority to the Government Council in individual cases.

3. The Cantonal Council may initiate a parliamentary initiative on the subject of an unfulfilled mandate or planning resolution. The law regulates the details.
