Art. 56 Ordinance on the Insurance Fund for State Personnel (VVK) - Claim

1. Employees of the state, elected either by the people or the Grand Council and assigned to the pension insurance, who have reached the age of 45 and have at least 15 years of contributions, are entitled to a pension if they are not re-elected through no fault of their own.

2. Instead of the pension, the insured person may demand the withdrawal benefit in accordance with Art. 59 of this ordinance. In this case, the entitlement to the severance pension is extinguished.

3. Upon the death of the pension recipient, the government may grant survivors' pensions as needed.
