Statutory Text (6 Provisions)
1. The compensations for the members of the Cantonal Council according to Art. 150 of the Rules of Procedure of the Cantonal Council are determined as follows
a) Daily Allowance: CHF 400 for a meeting lasting two hours or more, CHF 200 for a meeting lasting less than two hours;
b) Increased Daily Allowance for two or more meetings with a total duration of at least four hours on the same day: CHF 600;
c) Distance Allowance per road kilometer: CHF 0.70.
1. The Basic Compensation for the Members of the Cantonal Council pursuant to Art. 149ter of the Rules of Procedure of the Cantonal Council is set at CHF 2,000 per year.
1. The faction compensations according to Art. 159 of the Rules of Procedure of the Cantonal Council are determined as follows
a)* Basic amount: CHF 30,200;
b)* Surcharge for each faction member: CHF 3,000.
1. The annual pension contribution of the canton pursuant to Art. 161bis of the Rules of Procedure of the Cantonal Council for the members of the Cantonal Council amounts to 12 percent of the respective gross compensation.
2. The members of the Cantonal Council decide on the use of their annual pension contribution.
1. The Grand Council Resolution on Adjusting the Compensation of the Members of the Grand Council dated April 3, 1984, is hereby repealed.
1. Section 2 shall be applied as of January 1, 1991. The remaining provisions shall be applied as of May 1, 1991.
