Art. 87 Act on Administrative Procedure and Administrative Justice (Administrative Justice Act, VRG) (Verwaltungsrechtspflegegesetz, VRG) - Amendment of the Contested Decision

1. The appeals instance can amend the contested decision in favor of the appellant.

2. It can amend the contested decision to the detriment of the appellant insofar as it violates federal, cantonal, or communal law or is based on an incorrect or incomplete determination of the facts; if the authority intends to amend the contested decision to the detriment of the appellant, it shall inform him of this intention and grant him an opportunity to comment within a reasonable deadline.
