Art. 72 Act on Administrative Procedure and Administrative Justice (Administrative Justice Act, VRG) (Verwaltungsrechtspflegegesetz, VRG) - Suspensive Effect and Provisional Measures

1. Administrative appeals and administrative court appeals have, subject to different provisions, a suspensive effect.

2. The appellate authority or its chairman may, ex officio or upon application by a party, grant or revoke the suspensive effect.

3. In order to maintain the existing condition or temporarily secure threatened interests, provisional measures may, if necessary, be taken immediately without hearing the opposing party.
