Art. 63 Act on Administrative Procedure and Administrative Justice (Administrative Justice Act, VRG) (Verwaltungsrechtspflegegesetz, VRG) - 3. Amendment of the Contested Decision

1. The appellate authority may amend the contested decision in favor of the appellant.

2. The authority may amend the contested decision to the detriment of the appellant insofar as it violates federal, cantonal, or municipal law, or is based on an incorrect or incomplete determination of the facts; if the authority intends to amend the contested decision to the detriment of the appellant, it shall inform the appellant of this intention and provide an opportunity for response.
