Art. 51 Act on Administrative Procedure and Administrative Justice (Administrative Justice Act, VRG) (Verwaltungsrechtspflegegesetz, VRG) - Reports from Other Authorities

1. The competent authority may request written reports from other authorities to establish facts about which they can provide information based on their official duties.

2. The requested authority shall not provide information if

1. the requested information must remain confidential due to a legal provision or its nature;

2. providing the information could make it impossible or significantly jeopardize the fulfillment of the requested authority's own duties;

3. a public or significant private interest is or could be violated by doing so.
