§ 38 Act on the Organisation of Courts and Authorities in Civil, Criminal and Administrative Court Proceedings (Judiciary Act, JusG) (Justizgesetz, JusG) - Elections

1. The Cantonal Council elects the Justices of the Peace and their deputies, the presidents, and the other members of the joint conciliation authorities for a term of office of four years.

2. The joint representatives are elected based on proposals from associations and other organizations that primarily represent the interests of the affected parties.
