§ 1 Act on the Organisation of Courts and Authorities in Civil, Criminal and Administrative Court Proceedings (Judiciary Act, JusG) (Justizgesetz, JusG) - Subject Matter

1. The law regulates the organization of the Cantonal Court and its jurisdiction in civil, criminal, and administrative judicial proceedings, as well as the organization and jurisdiction of other courts and conciliation authorities in civil and criminal proceedings.

2. It determines the criminal prosecution authorities and regulates the organization of the public prosecutor's office.

3. It contains the implementation provisions for the execution of the Swiss Civil Procedure Code of December 19, 2008 (CPC), the Swiss Criminal Procedure Code of October 5, 2007 (CrimPC), and the Swiss Juvenile Criminal Procedure Code of March 20, 2009 (JuvCrimPC).

4. Special provisions that govern the execution of civil law, the prosecution of criminal offenses, or the procedure remain reserved.
