Art. 29 Ordinance on the Execution of the Law on Political Rights

1 The ballot box is then emptied.

2 If only one ballot box has been used for different items, the various types of ballots are first sorted.

3 The counting is conducted in the following order: federal elections or votes, cantonal elections or votes, communal elections or votes. The possibility remains to conduct the counting by separate groups of the electoral office, provided that its members are sufficiently numerous and that the counting of the federal and cantonal ballots is not compromised.
