Art. 49 PV - Transfer of Vacation — Transfer of Vacation

1. Generally, no more than five vacation days may be carried over to the following calendar year.

2. If taking vacation is not possible due to operational or other compelling reasons, the department may approve or order the carryover of up to fifteen vacation days.

3. The department, after consulting the personnel authority (PA), decides on the carryover of a higher number of vacation days.
