Art. 62 GPR - Withdrawal · Withdrawal
1. Any initiative may be withdrawn by the initiative committee. The withdrawal declaration is binding if it is signed by the absolute majority of the voting members of the initiative committee.
2. The withdrawal is permissible until the popular vote is scheduled. For an initiative in the form of a general suggestion that the Grand Council agrees to, the withdrawal is permissible until the approval decision.
3. The withdrawal is to be communicated to the Office of the Cantonal Chancellery for the attention of the Grand Council.
