Art. 17 Guidelines for Winter Service - Standards according to VSS 640 756a

1. Standards

a) Standard A: Black Road Policy (clear of snow and ice);

b) Standard B: Avoid snow-slipperiness on the carriageway and, in the longer term, also aim for a Black Road Policy by utilizing climatic conditions;

c) Standard C: White Road Policy - Keep the carriageway open at all times without the use of de-icing agents;

d) Standard D: No winter service.
