Art. 12 Waste Management Regulations - Fulfillment of Municipal Duties by Third Parties

1. The municipal council may delegate tasks in waste management, such as collection services or the disposal of collected waste, in whole or in part, to private entities or public organizations. For tasks within the scope of the municipality's waste disposal monopoly, a concession is granted in accordance with federal law (Art. 3 para. 3).

2. The municipality may merge with other municipalities for such purposes.
