Art. 21 Building Regulations of the Municipality of Mollis — Technical Measures

1. The fastening of noisy apparatus and pipes to bedroom and living room walls is to be avoided. Furthermore, noisy rooms in horizontal and vertical directions are to be grouped together and moved into the noise zone with elevator systems, chimneys, refuse chutes, and installation shafts.

2. If the separation of noise and quiet zones is not possible in the floor plan, appropriate constructive measures must take their place. The propagation of airborne sound, structure-borne sound, or impact sound is to be contained by suitable measures (design of walls, ceilings, windows, installation of resilient floor coverings, vibration dampers, permanently elastic joint sealants, etc.) such that the requirements outlined in this regulation are met.
