Purpose

1. This regulation governs the use of community-owned vehicles of the Municipality of Glarus Nord. It ensures that the vehicles are used exclusively for official purposes and that their availability for necessary deployments is guaranteed.

1. This regulation applies to all employees of the municipality of Glarus Nord who are authorized to use municipal vehicles within the scope of their professional activities.

1. The use of vehicles is exclusively limited to professional activities during working hours.

2. Journeys from home to the workplace and back, as well as private journeys, are not permitted and must be made using private or public transport.

3. After working hours and on weekends, vehicles must be parked in the designated garages or depots.

4. The Head of Department may, during on-call duty, approve that an on-call vehicle be taken home to ensure quick accessibility to the deployment location. Private use is not permitted.

5. Regarding the use of municipal vehicles in other circumstances, the decision rests with the Head of Department.

1. The Head of Department is responsible for the compliance with and implementation of these regulations.

2. Employees are obliged to use the vehicles properly and to park them in accordance with regulations after use.
