Ordinance Establishing State Contributions to Campaign Expenses for the 2026 Cantonal and 2027 National Elections - Total of the Final Settlement Amounts (Art. 1b para. 1 BWKG[[1]](#articletitle_text_fn_1676874_2_1_c))
Statutory Text (3 Provisions)
1. The total amount of declared campaign expenses for the cantonal elections 2021 amounts to 2,351,000 Swiss francs.
1. The State's contribution to the election campaign costs for the cantonal elections in 2026 amounts to 470,200 francs, i.e., 20% of the amount according to Article 1.
2. The amount according to paragraph 1 is allocated as follows
a) 211,590 francs for the election to the Grand Council, i.e., 45% of 470,200 francs;
b) 258,610 francs for the election to the State Council, i.e., 55% of 470,200 francs.
3. According to Article 1b paragraph 4 of the BWKG, the share of fixed amounts for general election campaign costs granted for the election to the Grand Council is distributed among the electoral districts in proportion to the number of voters registered in the electoral roll on the election day.
1. The State's contribution to the election campaign costs for the national elections in 2027 amounts to 352,650 Swiss Francs, i.e., 15% of the amount according to Article 1.
2. The amount referred to in paragraph 1 is allocated as follows
a) CHF 88,162.50 for the election to the Council of States, i.e., 25% of 352,650 Swiss Francs;
b) CHF 264,487.50 for the election to the National Council, i.e., 75% of 352,650 Swiss Francs.
