Federal Decree of December 18, 2020, Concerning the Approval of a Territorial Modification between the Cantons of Bern and Fribourg (Clavaleyres)

The modification of the territory between the cantons of Bern and Fribourg resulting from the transfer of the municipality of Clavaleyres from the canton of Bern to the canton of Fribourg is hereby approved.

The modification of the territory between the cantons of Bern and Fribourg resulting from the transfer of the municipality of Clavaleyres from the canton of Bern to the canton of Fribourg is hereby approved.

This Federal Decree shall be subject to a referendum.

If it is established within the ten days following the expiration of the referendum deadline that no referendum has been successful, the Federal Decree shall enter into force on 1 January 2022.

Otherwise, the Federal Council shall determine the date of entry into force. Date of entry into force: 1 January 2022
