Ordinance on the fees of the directorate of economic affairs and health in the healthcare sector - Scope

1. This regulation governs the clerical, inspection, and approval fees imposed by the Directorate of Economic and Health Affairs in the health sector.

1. The fee for the professional practice license is as follows

a. for a university medical profession: CHF 600;

b. for a psychotherapy profession: CHF 600;

c. for a complementary medicine activity: CHF 400;

d. for a druggist: CHF 400;

e. for another profession requiring a license under the Health Act: CHF 300;

f. for a substitute or assistant: CHF 200.

2. No fee shall be charged for licenses issued under the Federal Law of October 6, 1995, on the Internal Market.

3. The fee for the confirmation of notification for reportable activities is CHF 100.

1. A fee of CHF 75.- shall be charged for the issuance of certificates of no objection.

1. The fee for the operational permit for birthing centers, medical laboratories, institutions requiring approval under the Federal Act of December 18, 1998[[5]](#paragraphtext_content_fn_1037178_2_5_c) [on Medically Assisted Reproduction](https://db.clex.ch/link/Bund/810.11/en), ambulance and rescue services, home care organizations, day and night facilities, as well as other institutions in the healthcare sector requiring approval is as follows

1. The fee for the operating permit for nursing homes and assisted living facilities is

b. for the renewal of the permit after expiration CHF 500-1,000.-.

1. The Fee for the Operating Permit for Hospitals is as follows

a. for the issuance of the permit CHF 1,000-5,000;

b. for the renewal of the permit after expiration CHF 500-1,000.

1. The Fee for the Operating License for Public Pharmacies, Practice Pharmacies, and Drugstores, as well as Hospital, Home, Home Care Organization, and Other Establishment Pharmacies is

a. for the Issuance of the License CHF 400-1,000;

b. for the Renewal of the License after Expiry CHF 200.

1. The Fee for the Authorization to Store Blood and Blood Products is as follows

a. for the issuance of the authorization: CHF 400;

b. for the renewal of the authorization after expiration: CHF 200.

1. The fee for the operational permit for handling controlled substances is

a. CHF 400 for the issuance of the permit;

b. CHF 200 for the renewal of the permit after expiration.

2. A fee of CHF 50, including postage and packaging, is charged for the shipment of prescription pads for narcotics.

1. The Fee for Controls and Inspections within the Scope of the Enforcement of Federal Medical Professions Legislation, Medicinal Products Legislation, Narcotics Legislation, as well as Cantonal Legislation in the Field of Health Professions is Calculated Based on Expenditure and Amounts to CHF 220.00 per Hour.

1. A fee of CHF 100-300 is charged for processing amendments to existing permits.

2. For processing amendments that were not duly reported, an additional compensation for expenses of up to CHF 100 may be charged in addition to the fee pursuant to paragraph 1.

1. A fee of CHF 50 shall be charged for the issuance of a corpse passport.

1. The approval and office fees for additional official activities, which are not specifically listed in this regulation, amount to CHF 50-600.-.
