Ordinance on the Disability Rights Act of Basel-Landschaft (Vo BRG BL) - Publication and Communication of Digital Information and Services

1. The canton shall, as far as reasonably possible, design its information as well as communication and transaction applications in accordance with the national and international IT standards that govern the accessibility of applications and are recognized by the federal government for its own applications. They must achieve the conformity level "AA" required by these standards.

2. Information, communication, and transaction applications particularly include the cantonal website, the BL account including all digital government services, the digital official gazette, the collections of laws, the geo-data portal, and the Open Government Data portal.

1. The Disabled Forum as the umbrella organization for self-help for people with disabilities in the Basel region can independently assert legal claims based on the BRG BL, provided that the alleged disadvantage is significant.

2. Upon application by disabled organizations pursuant to § 10 paragraph 1 of the BRG BL, additional organizations may be included in the list according to paragraph 1.
