Cantonal Ordinance on Execution of Debt Collection Assistance (KAVI) - Jurisdiction (KAVI)
Statutory Text (4 Provisions)
1. The municipalities provide assistance in the enforcement of family law maintenance claims when the obligated person does not fulfill the maintenance obligation (collection assistance).
2. For this purpose, they establish specialized agencies in accordance with the Collection Assistance Ordinance.
1. The specialized agencies provide collection assistance for maintenance claims pursuant to Article 3, paragraph 1, of the Collection Assistance Ordinance in accordance with federal legal provisions.
2. In cross-border cases, they provide collection assistance in accordance with the applicable administrative assistance agreements and reciprocity declarations.
1. The municipalities shall equip the specialized agencies with the necessary resources to ensure enforcement in accordance with federal law.
2. They shall particularly ensure that a sufficient number of professionally trained personnel are available.
3. They may operate joint specialized agencies and collaborate with suitable public or private entities.
1. The Department of Health and Social Affairs designates an appropriate cantonal authority to act as the central reception and transmission office in cross-border cases between the federal government and specialist offices.
2. It may issue directives.
