Art. 43b Ordinance on the Organization, OoO - Representation before Courts and Appeal Instances · Representation before Courts and Appeal Instances

1. Departments and the Cantonal Chancellery specify in their organizational regulations who is authorized to represent them before cantonal and federal courts and appellate authorities. In individual cases, other organizational units or persons may also be authorized to represent.

2. In departmental matters, the acceptance of a settlement or the declaration of withdrawal from a dispute requires the approval of the head of the department, unless otherwise specified in an individual case.
