Decision of the Governing Council on the Fund for the Appenzell Apprenticeship - Subject Matter

1. The Fund for Appenzell Education is a designated asset of the Canton of Appenzell Innerrhoden, which is to be managed and used in accordance with the provisions of this decree.

1. From the fund, the canton purchases a backpack for each first-year apprentice in the canton, which is given to the apprentices at the beginning of their training.

2. Should the gifting of backpacks prove to be no longer practical or appropriate, the canton is authorized to use the fund's resources in other ways for the benefit of the apprentices, as well as the vocational trainers in the canton of Appenzell I.Rh., for example, for other gifts, events, excursions, awards, or similar purposes.

1. The fund is augmented by contributions from Maurus Wyser according to the agreement dated January 31, 2022.

2. Furthermore, the fund may be assigned additional contributions serving the purpose of the fund, such as donations or bequests.

1. The Cantonal Commission exercises supreme oversight over the fund.

2. The Department of Education decides on the allocation of the fund's resources.

3. The National Accounting Office manages the fund's assets and initiates disbursements.

1. This resolution takes effect immediately.
