Agreement on the Public Church Law Status of Members of the Altstätten Protestant Parish Residing in Oberegg
Statutory Text (3 Provisions)
1. The Protestants residing in the Kapf area as per the map attached are full members of the Evangelical Parish of Altstätten, with all rights and responsibilities.
1. The Canton of Appenzell I.Rh. levies the church tax from the Evangelicals residing in the Kapf area according to Inner Rhoden law and transfers the amount to the Evangelical Church Community of Altstätten.
2. The amount of the tax is based on what would need to be paid by a St. Gallen church member of the Evangelical Church Community of Altstätten under the same income and wealth conditions.
3. The tax rate is determined by the leadership of the Evangelical Church Community of Altstätten based on the Inner Rhoden tax relations and the tax rate for the St. Gallen church members. It requires approval by the tax administration of the Canton of Appenzell I.Rh.
1. The contract comes into effect on January 1, 2017.
