Art. 6 Rules of Procedure of the Standing Commission (GR StK) - Statements in Votes

1. The Cantonal Council may publicly comment on a federal proposal as a body if the canton is specifically affected.

2. Members of the Cantonal Council publicly comment on voting matters as necessary; they ensure that primarily the member with the relevant subject matter responsibility provides the commentary.

3. If the Cantonal Council has taken a particular stance on a matter, its members represent this stance.

4. For personal statements in a voting or election campaign, participation in an initiative or voting committee, or active election support, the Cantonal Council member must obtain prior approval from the Cantonal Council.
