Resolution of the Standing Commission on Departments, Administrative Offices and Commissions (StKB Dep) (STKBDEP)

**1. With this resolution, implementing the Ordinance on the Departments and their Main Duties dated 26 March 2001, the organization of the departments, their offices, and commissions is established.**

2. Furthermore, in addition to the main duties assigned to the departments under the Ordinance on the Departments and their Main Duties, further tasks are allocated to the departments.

3. To the extent not already determined by law, regulation, or a resolution of the Standing Commission, the head of the department assigns tasks of the department to the offices and commissions.

4. Each department appoints a department secretary, who is responsible for communications with the Standing Commission as well as with the other departments and their subordinate offices.

5. Unless the Standing Commission decides otherwise for a commission or a commission member it has chosen, the tenure for newly elected commission members begins on 1 June, and there is no fixed term of office. Resignations must be submitted at least 40 days in advance by the end of May.
