Items for Deliberation - Petitions
§ 86 Rules of Procedure, RP · Procedure
1. The competent commission clarifies the facts of the case. It may obtain reports from the government council or other commissions.
2. It may hear the petitioners or delegate individual commission members to hold discussions with them.
3. It submits a written report and proposes whether and, if so, how the petition should be addressed.
4. The council's response is communicated to the petitioner. Submissions with obviously absurd content or with requests for which the Grand Council is not competent can be answered directly by the commission or forwarded. It informs the council of these cases.
